Sucha Girl started as just an idea when I was living in Abbottsford, BC in 2022. In 2023, I officially launched online, selling unique and girly phone cases and hair accessories. In the winter of 2023, I had my first market pop-up when I moved back to Ontario. That's when this little dream really started to grow...

After selling curated products for the last few years, something in me was still left unsettled. I wanted to use my skills and craftsmanship. Not just sell cute products. A lot of people don't know that I graduated in Fashion Design and worked in the fashion industry for almost 10 years before leaving it all behind and choosing a different route. I worked in all kinds of industries after that. Fell in love with hospitalty in the process. I thought I didn't love fashion anymore - but I learned that I still loved creating.

There’s nothing quite like creating something with your own two hands. I always knew it was only a matter of time before Sucha Girl became a space filled with pieces I’ve lovingly made myself. It fills me with much joy to sit at my sewing machine, bring ideas to life, and imagine the sweet soul who will one day be wearing what I’ve created.

Now, in 2026 - Sucha Girl Shop has re-launched and slowly transitioned from curated and sourced products, to a more eco-friendly approach with conscious handmade designs. I’m proud to share that 90% of the fabrics and materials I use are up-cycled and/or thrifted. That means we’re saving beautiful textiles from ending up in the landfill—repurposing and reworking them into something fresh, meaningful, and ready to live a new life in your wardrobe.
